This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our website, community features, and learning resources, including the Kharis Institute of the E,Jedi Way, our self-paced academy for learning the Jedi path. 2. How We Use Information
We may use collected information to create and manage user accounts; provide forums, blogs, chat rooms, Guilds, events, private messages, photo galleries, file uploads, and academy features; display user profiles and public community content; maintain site security; prevent abuse, spam, harassment, or unauthorized access; moderate community activity; improve site performance and user experience; analyze general site usage; respond to privacy or support requests; and comply with legal obligations.
3. Public Content and Community Areas
The Jediism Way is a community-based website. Content you post in public or shared areas may be visible to other users or the public, depending on the feature and its settings. This may include forum posts, comments, blog posts, profile information, photos, uploaded files, Guild activity, event participation, and chat room messages. Private messages are intended to be private between the participants, but they may still be stored by the site and may be accessed by administrators if necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, or enforcement of community rules.
4. Account Deletion and Content Retention
Users may delete their own accounts. When an account is deleted, the account may be removed or anonymized, but content created by the user may remain on the site. This includes forum posts, comments, blogs, chat messages, uploaded files, photos, and other community contributions. This is because community discussions often rely on the continuity of past posts and replies. Users may contact us at privacy@thejediismway.net to request review of specific content. We may retain certain information when needed for security, abuse prevention, moderation history, legal compliance, backup systems, dispute resolution, or site integrity.
5. Cookies and Analytics

At this time, The Jediism Way uses login/session cookies and analytics. We do not currently use advertising cookies.

Users may upload photos, images, and files to the website. Uploaded content may be visible to others depending on where it is posted, may remain stored on the website, and may be removed by administrators if it violates site rules. 8. The Kharis Institute of the Jedi Way
The Kharis Institute of the Jedi Way is a self-paced academy offered through The Jediism Way. If you participate in the academy, we may collect or store information related to your learning activity, such as course participation, progress through materials, assignments, reflections, comments, responses, and related account activity if those features are used. This information is used to provide the academy experience and manage participation.
9. Guilds, Events, Chat, and Private Messages
The Jediism Way includes interactive community features such as Guilds, event management, chat rooms, and private messaging. Information created through these features may be stored and used to provide the feature, maintain community records, moderate activity, investigate misuse or abuse, and protect users and the site. Users should treat online community spaces with care and should not share sensitive personal information unless they are comfortable doing so.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Jediism Way is intended for adults and is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate parental consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete that information. 11. International Users, GDPR, and UK GDPR
Although The Jediism Way operates from the United States, users from other countries may access the site. For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other regions with data protection laws, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information depending on your location and the circumstances. These may include rights to access personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict certain processing, object to certain processing, and request data portability. We use reasonable measures to protect user information, including hashed password storage and administrative controls. However, no website, server, database, or online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for keeping their passwords confidential and for using strong, unique passwords.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the website, provide community features, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce rules, and protect the site. Some content may remain after account deletion, especially public or community content such as forum posts, comments, blogs, chat messages, uploaded files, photos, and replies. Backups and logs may also retain information for a period of time before they are deleted or overwritten.
16. User Choices
Users may be able to edit account information, update profile information, delete their account, manage some posted content depending on site settings, control browser cookies, and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of certain information. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of the policy. Continued use of The Jediism Way after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
