Website Bugs

As I mentioned, this is a beta version of the website software. They are close to having it fully ready to go but it means there are still a few bugs in it. Since we are a new site I figured we might as well go with the latest software instead of building the site on the older software and then a few months later having to overhaul everything. Please post in this forum or post any bugs you come across because I do report them. Thanks!!

Confirmed Bugs

1. Cover photos in your profile or blog will not reposition correctly. When you upload a cover photo for your profile and try to adjust it’s layout and hit save, it pops to the top of the photo instead of where you wanted it!

2. A few sidebar items do not show properly to guests (will be fixed in the next beta)

Some good news…as far as I can tell all the bugs I have come across have been fixed. If you see any please don’t hesitate to let me know!!

So this thread is now for bugs on this version of the site. One of the big ones I am working through is it takes like 7-10 seconds have you hit post to create a new topic or reply to a post for it to submit. I am working on cutting that time way down!

I did a few minor fixes today, the member map now will show information when you click on someone from the map, it will show the username of who is located there. Also the markings will continue to show as you zoom in and out, it had a few glitches. I also added pagination as forum threads get longer and when a forum topic has a new reply, when you click on it, instead of taking you to the first post, it will take you to the first post you haven't seen. I also improved the following topic so you'll be able to follow forum posts if you choose.
