The Jediism Family Tree

I've posted a couple places about this but I've been working on a sort of family tree of Jediism. I've been all over Discord, Facebook, Reddit and the depths of the old internet (via the Wayback Machine) doing research.

I first saw mention of this group as an offshoot of JEDI. I hope I'm correct in this but feel free to correct me. Here's what I have so far for this group.

And it looks like this coming of it's branch of the family tree.

Let me know if there is anything else I should change things too. I'm uncertain to classify this group as Jedi Realist, Jedist or, something else in nature at the moment so any details there will help.

I will check into the image posting issue!! As I built this site from the ground up there will be little bugs here and there, I'll get this one set in just a few and if you notice anything else just let me know and I'll get it fixed!!

I will keep this as the short version..lol, when I first came into the Jedi community the Yahoo Groups were the place to be for most of the activity. JEDI was definitely one of the main actual websites at that time. There were a few smaller ones but that was, outside of the Yahoo Groups, the place to go. I came in just after the jediism.org site closed, always wished I had got to see that site in its heyday!! I was also in my early 20's when I first came online. After I found the community was where I wanted to be I decided to take my web design knowledge and build my own site as I felt I had a unique point of view on what Jediism meant and quite a few others I talked with felt similar so I opened the original version of this website, thejediismway.org. I don't think of it as an offshoot of any specific site but I did take much of my learning and knowledge of the Jedi path did come from JEDI along with some other individuals. Due to just my youth and inexperience in maintaining a community I ended up closing the site, which I wish I didn't do but it is what it is..lol, so this site is the continuation of thejediismway.org and much of the material used on the site is from that original website.

The image issue should be fixed, if you continue having issues just send me a quick message on what it is doing for you specifically or post in the feedback forum, hate to use up this thread for troubleshooting 🙂

So it looks like direct from a pasted screenshot does not work.

*Chuckles* OK so at least that way works.

Here's what the full image looks like zoomed out. Since it's a large file I can only do a general screenshot.

I also have it's details as this for the moment under its node.

I'll work on adding copy and paste, never even thought of doing that..LOL. Will let you know when it is all set!

That looks great, is there like a publicly viewable link of your overall chart? When you try to zoom in on the image it gets distorted. I bet seeing the details of that big one will bring back some memories as I was active at a majority of the sites back then....lol. I am still looking through all of my hard drives, if I can find my stuff from the Jedi Resource Center as I think we had a detailed history somewhere on the site at one point. One of my friends back in the day also do a pretty complete history so I'm seeing if I can find that. It's really neat to see!!

I have no public links as of yet but I can do what I can to separate things into chunks for posting.

First would you describe the Jediism Way branching from JEDI or the Jediism: The Jedi Religion? Both have been suggested to me but I don't know which would, to you, more suit the history of the movement. Currently I have it connected to JEDI but could change it if needed.

As for posts, here we go.
